DataServer, KioskServer and WebServer Stopping

Reported Fault

"DataServer, KioskServer and/or WebServer services are stopping randomly."

Symptoms
  1. DataServer stops running even thought Windows Service Manager states the service is running.
  2. KioskServer stops running even thought Windows Service Manager states the service is running.
  3. WebServer stops running even thought Windows Service Manager states the service is running.
Cause
  1. The kwiklook services are not installed correctly.
Remedy
  1. Change the service 'Log On Name' to 'Network Service'.
    1. Right Click on 'Computer' from the Desktop or Start Menu and select 'Manage'.
    2. Expand 'Services and Applications' and select 'Services'.
    3. Right Click on 'kwiklook Data Server' and select 'Properties'.
    4. Click the 'Log On' tab and click the 'Browse' button.
    5. Type the name of a user that has administrator rights to the local PC and the network in the 'Enter the object name to select' text box and click 'OK'.
    6. Click 'Apply'. Click 'OK'.
    7. Repeat for other kwiklook services.
    8. Restart the machine.
  2. Setup Recovery settings for service failures.
    1. Right Click on 'Computer' from the Desktop or Start Menu and select 'Manage'.
    2. Expand 'Services and Applications' and select 'Services'.
    3. Right Click on 'kwiklook Data Server' and select 'Properties'.
    4. Click the 'Recovery' tab.
    5. Change 'First Failure', 'Second Failure' and 'Third Failure' to 'Restart the service'.
    6. Click 'Apply'. Click 'OK'.
    7. Repeat for other kwiklook services.
