Kwiklook does not respond

Reported Fault

"kwiklook is frozen and wont respond!"

Symptoms

1. The kwiklook application window does not respond when attempting to close it.
2. kwiklook is frozen in the middle of a process and does not respond.
3. The Navigator menu does not appear and the rest of the window is grayed-out .

Cause

There is a problem with the computer. The computer is missing a Windows component or has been affected by a virus.

Remedy

Shutdown kwiklook using Windows Task Manager:

1. Select Ctrl + Alt + Delete.
2. In the Processes tab locate and select "kwiklook.exe".
3. Select End Process.
