Overview

kwiklook Attendance Kiosk is a stand alone application that runs on a Touch Screen or Non-Touch Screen self sign-in kiosk PC for use with the Staff Attendance, Visitor Attendance and OH&S Certification modules.

Prerequisites

  • Stand alone kiosk PC.
  • DYMO LabelWriter 450 and shipping labels (required for printing labels/passes).
  • WebCam (required for taking pictures of visitors).
  • Touch Screen monitor (required for use of the on-screen keyboard).

Installation

  1. Download the kwiklook Attendance Kiosk installation files to the stand alone kiosk PC.
  2. Unzip the zip file to 'C:\FutureIT\'.
  3. Upgrade the kwiklook Attendance Kiosk files as required.
  4. Make a shortcut to C:\FutureIT\kwiklookKiosk\Program\klkc.exe on the desktop and rename to 'kwiklook Attendance Kiosk'.
  5. Run the main kwiklook application as an administrator.
  6. Select the 'Visitor Attendance' module, click Records > Kiosks.
  7. Click 'New' and setup the kiosk properties.
  8. Once the properties are set and correct click 'Create Kiosk Setup File' and save file to USB stick if kioks is a different PC or save locally if kiosk is on the same machine.
  9. Start the kwiklook Attendance Kiosk and click 'Load Setup File'.
  10. Navigate to setup file and click 'OK'.

Uninstallation

  1. Delete the entire FutureIT folder from the Stand Alone Kiosk PC.
