Why is the Data Collector not beeping when placed next to a Point?

There are two reasons why a Data Collector will not beep when placed next to a point:

  1. The Data Collector is faulty, or
  2. The point is faulty.

Please test the point with another Data Collector that you know is working to make sure that the point is not faulty.

Faulty Data Collectors and points need to be sent back to our deliveries warehouse for repair.
